Kept in your browser

This information lives in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device:

• Your favorites and your recently played games, with the time you last opened each one
• Personal best scores
• Saved game progress
• Dark or light theme, and whether the sidebar is collapsed

Clearing your browser data deletes it. To draw the cards for your favorites and history, the browser sends us only the game IDs.

Counted on our servers

To count plays and likes and to fix broken games, our servers record anonymous play sessions: the game and its version, a rough device type (phone, tablet or computer), the page language, rounds played, play time and the best score of the session. Simple in-game events, problem reports and game error messages are stored the same way.

We do not keep IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, names or email addresses. Abuse protection uses short-lived, one-way hashed keys.

Every game runs in a sandbox

Games run on a separate origin inside a restricted frame. They cannot read ZotaGame’s storage or connect to other websites.
