What is Prism Pour?

Prism Pour is a water sort game where you tip colored liquid from flask to flask until every flask holds a single color. One pour carries the whole matching stack on top, as much as fits, and every flask holds 4 portions. Five chapters of 20 levels grow from 3 colors in 5 flasks to 7 colors in 9, each chapter with its own flask silhouette, and a 6-color Daily Pour lands every day on top of the 100 levels.

How to play Prism Pour

Goal: Leave every flask empty or full of one color, ideally in the level's minimum number of pours for 3 stars.

  1. Tap a flask that has liquid in it, then tap the flask you want to pour into.
  2. Pour only into an empty flask or onto the same color; the matching stack flows across until the target is full.
  3. Use the two empty flasks that every level starts with as parking spots while you untangle the colors.
  4. Finish when every flask is empty or full of one color, then check your pours against the minimum on the win screen.

Tips & tricks

  1. Before a pour, count the free space in the target: if only part of the stack fits, the rest stays behind and needs another pour.
  2. Undo hands the pour back, so try a risky idea freely; only Restart wipes the whole attempt.
  3. Want quick stars? Start in Shallows: its minimums run from 3 to 10 pours, so 3 spare pours for 2 stars go a long way.
  4. On the Daily Pour the minimum is 17 to 20 pours; once you are 4 pours over it only 1 star is left, so Restart early.
  5. Pink and purple blur together on a dim screen? Switch on Color symbols in Settings and sort hearts from stars instead.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if only part of a stack fits in Prism Pour?

The target flask fills up to its 4 portions and the leftover portions stay in the source flask. It still counts as one pour, so a split pour is not wasted, but moving the remainder will take another pour later.

Does Undo cost anything in Prism Pour?

No. Undo takes the last pour back and lowers the pour counter with it, so stars are judged only on the pours you keep, and you can step back as far as you like. Restart works differently: after you confirm, every flask returns to its start and the counter drops to 0.

How many pours does the hardest Prism Pour level need?

Level 100 needs at least 24 pours, the most in the game. The minimum climbs chapter by chapter: 3 to 10 in Shallows, 7 to 14 in Lagoon, 11 to 17 in Coral Reef, 14 to 20 in Tide Pools and 17 to 24 in Deep Blue.

Which Prism Pour chapter should I start with?

Any of them, because all 100 levels are open from the first visit. Shallows uses 3 colors in 5 flasks and is the gentlest; each later chapter adds one color and one flask, up to 7 colors in 9 flasks in Deep Blue. Every level, whatever the chapter, begins with two empty flasks.

When does a new Prism Pour Daily Pour appear?

At midnight in your own time zone. On any given date every player gets the same board, 6 colors spread over 8 flasks, and its minimum always falls between 17 and 20 pours. Your best result for the day is saved along with a running count of the days you have solved.

Can a Prism Pour board become unsolvable?

Yes, a careless pour can leave a board with no way to finish, but you never lose because there is no fail screen. Hint tells you when the board can no longer be solved, and then a few Undos or a Restart put you back on track. When no pour is possible at all, the game says so as well.
