Gleam Garage
Drag a brush through thick mud and watch shiny paint appear underneath. Foam, rinse, dry and polish 24 cars, from little Pip to Stomper.
What is Gleam Garage?
Gleam Garage is a 3D car wash game where you sweep a brush, foam cannon, hose, towel and polisher across grimy cars until the paint sparkles. Every car has a short list of steps, from 2 on the very first car to 6 on sandy beach cars, and each step finishes at 97% so you never hunt for the last pixel. Three wash bays add new mess as you go, from bird droppings to salt crust and tar. Nothing can go wrong, and a star clock per car gives speedy cleaners something to chase.

How to play Gleam Garage
Goal: Get all 24 cars spotless, and beat the ★★★ time shown on each car to collect three stars per wash.
- Pick the next open car. Corner Garage comes first, then Seaside Suds and Midnight Detail.
- Read the step chips at the top, then drag over the car with the tool the bottom bar hands you.
- Scrub until Dirt gone! pops up, cover the car in foam, then hose every bubble away.
- On later cars, rinse beach sand off first and towel the water drops dry before polishing.
- Polish the dull paint panel by panel until Gleaming! appears and the result card shows your stars.
- From car 21 the turntable spins the car around, and you repeat the steps on the other side.

Tips & tricks
- Your clock only starts with the first stroke, so study the dirt before you touch the car.
- Move the brush in long, steady strokes: held still it works about five times slower than while moving.
- Wild scribbling does not help either. Each rubbing tool counts only up to a top stroke speed, so smooth lanes win.
- With the foam cannon or hose, pause over a stubborn corner: sprayers keep working while you hold still.
- When a step sits above 70% and stops moving for 2.5 seconds, look for the glowing spots and go straight there.
- Salt crust, tar and sap need about three times the scrubbing of mud, so give them extra passes in one go.
Frequently asked questions
How are the star times set in Gleam Garage?
Each car's limits come from a tidy test wash of that exact car. The three-star time is that test time multiplied by 1.9 plus 3 seconds for every step, and the two-star time is three times the test time plus 6 seconds per step, both rounded up to the next 5 seconds.
Does scrubbing faster help in Gleam Garage?
Only up to a point. The brush, towel and polisher clean according to the distance you cover, but anything above their top stroke speed is ignored. Steady, overlapping strokes at a brisk pace clean fastest, while holding a tool still cleans about four to five times slower.
What are the three wash bays in Gleam Garage?
Corner Garage holds cars 1 to 8 with mud, dust and bird droppings. Seaside Suds, cars 9 to 16, brings beach sand and salt crust. Midnight Detail, cars 17 to 24, adds bugs, tar and tree sap, and its last four cars must be washed on both sides.
How many steps does one car take in Gleam Garage?
Between 2 and 6 per side. The first car, Pip, only needs scrubbing and rinsing. Foam joins on car 2 and polishing on car 3, sandy cars start with a pre-rinse, and from car 10 a towel step follows the rinse, so a sandy car can need all six tools in a row.
Can you rewash a car for a better time in Gleam Garage?
Yes. The result card has a Wash again button, and R restarts the current car at any moment. Only your best stars and your best time for each car are kept, and a faster run shows New best time!, so replays can only improve your record.
Why do the foam cannon and the hose behave differently in Gleam Garage?
They are sprayers, so they work for as long as you hold them, even without moving. The brush, towel and polisher are rubbing tools that mostly need motion. That means you can park the hose on a sandy wheel arch but should keep the polisher gliding.
