What is Whisker Tray?

Whisker Tray is a cat café puzzle game where you tap shelves to send their front treat into a tray, and every three matching treats are served the moment they meet. The catch is the tray: it holds only 7 treats, and filling it with unmatched ones ends the attempt. Across 100 levels the counters grow from 9 treats on 3 shelves to 36 treats on 7, with 10 different treats in all, and stars reward clears that need no Undo or Hint.

How to play Whisker Tray

Goal: Serve every treat in trios until all shelves and the tray are empty, without letting the tray overflow.

  1. Scan the shelves first: every treat is visible, but only the one at the front can be taken.
  2. Tap a shelf to move its front treat into the tray, where it lines up beside treats of the same kind.
  3. Gather three of a kind and they are served at once, freeing three slots in the tray.
  4. Empty every shelf and the tray to finish; if the tray fills with mismatched treats, use Undo or Restart.

Tips & tricks

  1. Count before you tap: with 6 treats already in the tray, only a treat that completes a pair is safe to take.
  2. Open with treats whose partners already sit at the front of other shelves; a trio in three taps keeps the tray empty.
  3. From level 31 some treats come in sixes: serve the first trio before you start gathering the second one.
  4. On the 6-slot trays, two pairs plus two singles already fill the tray, so finish a pair before you open a third kind.
  5. Took a wrong turn early? Restart instead of undoing five times: Restart sets your help count to zero, each Undo adds one.

Frequently asked questions

Which treats appear in Whisker Tray?

Ten café treats: mochi, strawberry, milk carton, cookie, pudding, matcha tea, taiyaki, bubble tea, toast and melon. Early levels use only 3 kinds, and all 10 first share one level at level 89, so the last trays need much sharper counting.

Does Restart cost stars in Whisker Tray?

No. Stars count helps, meaning each Undo and each Hint, and Restart sets that count back to zero. Clearing with no helps earns 3 stars, up to 3 helps earns 2 and more earns 1, so a clean replay can always reach the top rating.

Which Whisker Tray levels have a smaller tray?

Levels 90, 92, 94, 96, 98 and 100 give you a 6-slot tray instead of 7. Each of them serves 30 treats of 8 kinds from 6 shelves, so with one slot fewer you need to plan two taps ahead before every move.

How do treats in sixes work in Whisker Tray?

From level 31, some kinds appear six times instead of three. They are served as two separate trios: the first three leave the tray as soon as they meet, and the next three have to be gathered again. That means you never hold more than two of one kind in the tray.

Does Whisker Tray warn me before the tray fills up?

Yes, in two ways. A message appears when only one free slot is left, and after every tap the game checks all remaining orders of taps; if none of them can clear the board, it tells you right away so you can undo instead of playing on.

What are the four chapters of Whisker Tray?

Morning Counter, Garden Terrace, Rainy Window and Moonlight Bakery, with 25 levels each. Morning Counter starts with 9 treats on 3 shelves, and Moonlight Bakery reaches 36 treats on 7 shelves and adds the smaller 6-slot trays.
