A violet gourd in a crooked witch hat slithers down a cobbled night road. Every glowing stone you swallow lengthens the tail; every bump shortens it.

What is Gobble Trail?

Gobble Trail is a Halloween snake game in 3D where the road does the running and you do the choosing: which strip of cobbles to be on when the next row of spikes, tombstones or ghosts rolls up. On ZotaGame the snake is a violet gourd with lime neon eyes and a witch hat. Twenty nights, each a road of 380 to 780 metres, cross a pumpkin village, a haunted forest, a ghost graveyard and a witch's castle, and the pace climbs from 7.6 to 10.6 m/s.

How to play Gobble Trail

Goal: Collect all 60 stars: three on each of the 20 nights by reaching the gate, arriving with the night's target tail length and topping its score target.

  1. Tap Play to start the next night, or open Levels to replay one. A one-second Ready… gives you time to place your thumb.
  2. Slide a finger, drag the mouse or hold ← → (A / D). The gourd shifts across the road as far as your finger moves, so you never cover it.
  3. Read each obstacle row early. Rows always leave one strip open; slip into it and swallow the glowing stones that lead there.
  4. Grab the orange Boost charges, then hit the lime Boost button (or Space) on a clear straight for 4 seconds of speed and double-value stones.
  5. Cross the gate with hearts to spare. The result card lists score, tail length, candy and hearts, and which star you are still missing.

Tips & tricks

  1. Length beats speed for the second star: a single bump removes 2 segments, the same as 10 glow stones, so a careful line often ends longer than a fast one.
  2. Candy arcs are timed for the combo. Stay on the arc and each next sweet within 2 seconds pays 10 more, topping out at 50 per candy at ×5.
  3. Spider webs drop you to 55 % speed for 1.4 seconds and kill the candy combo; the Ghost Shield does not stop them, so steer round.
  4. On a Magnet (8 s) you can ride the middle strip and still collect food up to 2.6 m to each side, which makes it the best moment to ignore the stone trail.
  5. Portals skip part of the road, so night 17 holds the fewest glow stones (200) and asks for a tail of only 28. Spend your effort on its 4,650-point score target instead.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the snake in Gobble Trail purple on ZotaGame?

ZotaGame gives the game its own hero: a long violet gourd with lime neon eyes, a crooked witch hat and glowing orb segments. Other sites show a different pumpkin, but the hit circle (0.42 m), speed and steering are identical everywhere, so a score here means the same as anywhere else.

How many glow stones does one new segment cost in Gobble Trail?

Five. Each stone also scores 10 points, or 20 during a Pumpkin Boost. A regular pumpkin adds one segment on the spot and a Golden Pumpkin three, while every hit or fall takes two away; the tail never shrinks below three.

Is the Pumpkin Boost worth using in Gobble Trail?

Yes, on a clear stretch with stones. It lasts 4 seconds, raises speed by 45 % and doubles stone points. You can hold three charges at once, picked up from night 2 onward. On a crowded row it only gives you less time to react, so save it.

Which obstacles appear in which world of Gobble Trail?

The pumpkin village has spikes and, from night 4, pumpkins that roll at you. The haunted forest adds spooky trees, slowing spider webs, floating ghosts and the first rail-less bridge. The graveyard brings tombstones, sliding tombstones and cracked tiles; the castle adds magic fire and portals.

What breaks a long tail fastest in Gobble Trail?

Floating bridges and cracked tiles. Both have no curb to stop you, and a fall costs a heart plus two segments, just like a crash. Bridges are 3 m wide against 5.4 m of normal road, and cracked tiles give way 16 m before you reach them.

Can the Ghost Shield save you from every hazard in Gobble Trail?

No. For five seconds it lets the gourd pass through tombstones, spikes, trees, ghosts, rolling pumpkins and magic fire. Webs still slow you, and falling through a hole or off a bridge still costs a heart, so the shield is for solid obstacles only.
