Bloom Blocks
A garden block puzzle: plant rose, sunflower, bluebell and clover pieces on an 8×8 bed, then finish lines to wake bulbs, split stones and melt frost.
What is Bloom Blocks?
Bloom Blocks is a garden block puzzle in which every level is a small job list: wake the bulbs, split the stones, melt the frost or grow a hedge, using only the seed packets you are given. You plant three fixed-shape pieces at a time on an 8×8 bed and finish rows or columns to trigger each goal. A stone needs two clears, frost only melts from a line right beside it, and a line of 8 same-colour flowers scores double. When the 36 levels are done, Free Bloom runs on with no limit for a high score.

How to play Bloom Blocks
Goal: Tick off every garden job shown at the top of the screen before your seed packets run out.
- Check the goal chips first: bulbs to wake, stones to split, frost to melt or hedges to grow, plus your seed packets.
- Drag a piece from the tray onto the bed, or tap the piece and then the cell under its middle.
- Fill all 8 cells of a row or column to clear it; bulbs on that line open, stones in it crack or split, and frost touching it melts.
- Plant all three pieces to get the next three; they come in the same order on every try.
- Finish all jobs with no more pieces than par, without the hint, for 3 stars.

Tips & tricks
- Split a stone in two quick clears: build its line so a single small piece can refill it right after the first crack.
- Melt frost early: until it thaws, those cells are dead space that can block a later piece.
- Sort colours on purpose when a hedge is needed; park off-colour pieces on lines you do not plan to clear yet.
- A move that finishes a row and a column at once earns a 160-point bonus and moves two goals forward.
- In Free Bloom, keep a 3×3 area open: pieces of 4 cells or more come more often as your score climbs toward 8,000.
Frequently asked questions
What do the goal chips at the top of Bloom Blocks mean?
They are the level's jobs and the pieces left. A bulb chip counts bulbs still to open, a stone chip counts stones still standing, a frost chip counts icy cells, and a hedge chip counts one-colour lines still needed. The seed packet chip shows how many pieces remain; it turns red at 3.
Does a cracked stone still block planting in Bloom Blocks?
Yes. After the first clear through it, the stone shows a crack but keeps filling its cell, so no piece can go there. Clear a line through the same stone once more and it splits apart, leaving open soil.
Why didn't my hedge count in Bloom Blocks?
Every one of the 8 flowers in the cleared line must be the same colour, and the line must not contain a stone. One clover in a row of roses, or a cracked stone at the end, makes it a normal clear worth the usual points.
Does frost melt from a diagonal clear in Bloom Blocks?
No. Frost melts only when a cleared row or column runs directly beside it, sharing a full edge. A line that only meets the frosted cell at a corner leaves it frozen, and nothing can be planted there until it melts.
How long can a combo last in Bloom Blocks?
Each move that clears a line adds one to the combo, up to x5. You can make two moves in a row without clearing and keep it; the third move without a clear drops it back to x1, so plan a clear at least every third piece.
Does the hint in Bloom Blocks place the piece for me?
No. The hint lights up the cells where a piece should go and selects that piece in the tray, but you still have to plant it. Using it on a level limits that attempt to 2 stars.
