Prism Relay
Slide glowing rail tiles through one empty gap until light runs from start to goal over every gold fragment. 100 boards, no tile ever turns.
What is Prism Relay?
Prism Relay is a sliding path puzzle game where you shuffle glowing rail tiles through a single empty gap until one channel of light links the cyan start to the violet goal. Tiles can only slide, never spin, and the channel must also cross every gold light fragment on the board, up to three of them. Each of the 100 levels shows a proven Target, from 1 slide on level 1 to 27 on level 100, and when the route is complete a pearl orb rolls all the way home.

How to play Prism Relay
Goal: Build one unbroken rail from the start to the goal that passes over every gold light fragment.
- Find the empty cell: only the tiles right next to it can move.
- Tap, drag or use an arrow key to slide a neighbouring tile into the gap; straights stay straight and curves keep their two openings.
- Follow the glow: rails linked to the start shine cyan, rails linked to the goal shine violet.
- Check the Light counter and bend the channel over any gold fragment that is still off the route.
- Join the two glowing halves and the pearl orb rolls to the goal, finishing the level.

Tips & tricks
- Plan the gap's journey, not the tile's: every slide counts, so walk the gap the shortest way to the tile you want next.
- Look at which side the goal opens on before moving anything; the last tile of your channel must arrive from exactly that side.
- From level 41, use bolted tiles as fixed signposts: if one sits on the route, build the channel through its openings.
- On 5×5 boards (level 61 on), work backwards from the goal and keep the gap close to the tile you need next.
- Over the Target? Undo resets the counter too, so rewind to the mistake instead of restarting the whole board.
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of rail tiles are there in Prism Relay?
Six: a vertical straight, a horizontal straight and four curves that join up-right, right-down, down-left or left-up. A tile keeps its shape forever because nothing rotates, so the only way to change a turn in the channel is to slide a different tile into that cell.
How many light fragments does a Prism Relay level have?
One to three. The first 8 levels have a single gold fragment, most later boards have 2 or 3, and from level 67 every board has 3. The channel has to pass over all of them before the goal counts, and the Light counter shows how many are already on it.
How many slides can you use and still get 2 prisms in Prism Relay?
Up to the Target plus half of it, rounded up, with a minimum of 2 extra slides. On a 10-slide Target that means 15 slides or fewer. Hint is allowed for 2 prisms, but 3 prisms need the exact Target with no hint at all.
Can the gap pass through a bolted tile in Prism Relay?
No. Bolted tiles, which arrive at level 41, never slide, and the gap cannot travel across them either. That turns the board into narrow lanes for the gap to move through. If a bolted tile sits on the winning route, your channel has to use its openings.
What do the five chapters of Prism Relay add?
First Light and Glass Garden teach the basics on 4×4 boards. Bolted Bridges brings in fixed tiles at level 41, Wide Nebula switches to 5×5 boards at level 61, and Aurora Crown closes the game with the longest routes, up to 27 slides.
Is there a time limit in Prism Relay?
No. There is no clock and no way to fail, so you can test ideas freely. Undo puts back both the board and the move counter, Restart returns to the opening layout, and only the slides in your final route are counted for prisms.
