Swerve Strike
Curl free kicks round a 9.15 m wall and past a keeper who only reads straight lines. Three spots, six balls, 30 levels on five grounds.
What is Swerve Strike?
Swerve Strike is a 3D football free-kick game where one curved swipe decides the shot: the straight line of your swipe aims it, the sideways bow bends it. Every level hands you 6 balls to score from 3 spots, and the five grounds add a wall that jumps, a defender who shuffles across, glowing target hoops and wind. The keeper commits to the ball's straight path a tenth of a second after the kick, so a ball that swings late leaves him stranded at the wrong post.

How to play Swerve Strike
Goal: Score from all 3 spots of each level before your 6 balls run out, with no misses for 3 stars, and clear all 30 levels up to the Bowl Final.
- Press near the ball and swipe up towards the goal; let go to strike. A longer swipe sends it higher.
- Bow the swipe out to one side to add bend: bow it right and the ball heads right first, then curls back left.
- Read the white dots, but only the start: they cover 75% of the flight on the Training Pitch and just 40% in the Bowl Final.
- Score to move to the next spot. Saves, blocks, shots wide or over and a missed hoop each cost one ball.
- Missed twice at one spot? Tap the whistle for a gold line that goes in, then swipe it yourself.

Tips & tricks
- Beat the keeper by starting the ball towards the middle of the goal and letting the bend carry it to a post: he runs for the straight line, never the curl.
- From level 13 the wall can jump. They rise about 0.46 m, so a hard, flat swipe that barely lifts the ball can skid beneath their boots.
- No gap in the wall? Swipe long. Lifted kicks dip late, so a chip that clears 1.86 m of heads can still drop under the bar.
- On windy spots, check the arrow by the corner flag before you swipe and aim into it; the push keeps going after the dots stop, more on long kicks.
- Hold your swipe while the sliding defender passes once, then shoot as he moves away from your line instead of towards it.
- Three stars need a clean level, so take the coach only when a spot has beaten you twice: using it caps that level at 2 stars.
Frequently asked questions
What decides how much the ball bends in Swerve Strike?
How far your swipe bows sideways. The line from where your finger lands to where it lifts sets direction and height, and the bow sets the spin. At full bend a 22 m kick drifts about 2.7 m sideways, which is enough to start outside the wall and finish inside the post.
How does the keeper choose where to dive in Swerve Strike?
He looks at the ball once, a tenth of a second after it leaves the boot, and runs to where that straight line meets the goal. He waits about 0.5 seconds before moving at level 7, closer to 0.35 seconds by level 30. Bend changes the ending he planned for, which is why curled shots beat him.
Can you score under the jumping wall in Swerve Strike?
Yes. From level 13 the wall players can leap about 0.46 m as you strike. A fast, flat kick that barely rises stays low enough to pass beneath their feet, while a lifted ball has to go over 1.86 m tall players and dip under the bar.
What happens when the ball misses a target hoop in Swerve Strike?
The shot counts as a miss even if it crosses the goal line, and you lose that ball. Hoops arrive at level 19 on the Night Cup ground and hang inside the goal off to one side, high or low, so you have to steer the whole flight through a ring about 1.2 to 1.6 m across.
How do you lose a level in Swerve Strike?
A level ends as soon as the balls you have left are fewer than the goals you still need. With 6 balls for 3 goals you can afford 3 misses in total, so a fourth miss before the third goal sends you back to the start of that level.
When does wind start in Swerve Strike, and how strong is it?
Wind first blows at level 25, the start of the Bowl Final ground, and is on most kicks of its six levels. An arrow beside the corner flag shows its direction and strength. It pushes the ball sideways for the whole flight, and since the dots only show the first part, you have to aim upwind by feel.
