Witch Broom Dash
A glowing pumpkin-head sprite on a borrowed witch's broom, a sky split into nine cells and one rule: be in the open cell when the next obstacle arrives.
What is Witch Broom Dash?
Witch Broom Dash is a Halloween flying game in 3D where the broom never stops and your only job is aiming it. Each wall of bats, clouds, spires or bells closes some of the nine cells of sky, so every few seconds you pick a gap and slide into it. Twenty set levels run 280 to 650 metres through a village, a forest and a castle, and Endless Flight keeps generating fresh sky while the speed climbs from 8.2 to 12.5 m/s.

How to play Witch Broom Dash
Goal: Clear all 20 levels with three stars each, 60 in total, then see how many metres you last in Endless Flight before the third heart is gone.
- Pick Play for the next level or Endless for a run that never ends. A short countdown gives you a second to settle before the broom moves.
- Swipe anywhere on the screen, drag the mouse, or hold the arrow keys or WASD. The sprite follows your drag, so your finger never covers it.
- Watch the formation coming at you and move into the cell it leaves open. Each crash takes one of your three hearts.
- Sweep up the orange pumpkin lanterns in quick succession to start a combo, and steer through the mint Moon Rings to build a shield.
- Fly through the stone portal at the end. The result card counts lanterns, rings, close calls and the stars you earned.
Controls
| Key | Action |

| EnterSpace | Start from the title screen |
| EscP | Pause or resume |

Tips & tricks
- Score chasers should hunt close calls: slipping past an obstacle with a 15 to 35 cm gap is worth 30 points, up to three times a second.
- A ring's 75 points become 100 if you pass within 22 cm of its centre, so line up early instead of correcting at the last moment.
- In Endless, the scenery switches every 90 seconds. Treat each switch as a checkpoint for pacing: the speed is 0.35 m/s higher every half minute.
- If you lose the lantern trail, skip it. A combo resets after 4 seconds anyway, and a heart is worth more than a few lanterns.
- On a phone, short swipes beat long ones: the sprite moves about 4.6 m for a swipe across the narrow side of the screen.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the rider in Witch Broom Dash on ZotaGame?
On ZotaGame the broom is flown by a neon pumpkin-head sprite in a violet hood who carries a lime lantern. Other sites show a different rider, but only the look changes: every version sits on the same broom, flies at the same speed and has the same 0.38 m hit sphere, so scores are comparable.
How are points scored in Witch Broom Dash?
You earn 1 point for every metre flown, 20 points per lantern multiplied by your combo, 75 per Moon Ring with a 25 point bonus for a dead-centre pass, and 30 for each close call. Crashing never removes points; it only costs a heart, and the third lost heart ends the flight.
What changes between the forest and castle levels of Witch Broom Dash?
The Whispering Forest, levels 6 to 12, brings friendly ghosts that drift side to side, crooked branches and the first crosswinds in level 8. Moon Castle, levels 13 to 20, is faster, up to 11.2 m/s, and stacks two obstacle patterns at the same distance more often, with stronger wind.
Does Endless Flight in Witch Broom Dash ever repeat?
No. Each run builds a new sky from a random seed, checking as it goes that a safe path through every formation exists. Speed starts at 8.2 m/s and tops out at 12.5 m/s after about six minutes, and your longest distance and highest score are saved apart.
Can a crosswind push you into an obstacle in Witch Broom Dash?
Yes, if you let it. From level 8 some formations come with wind that slides the broom sideways, at 0.64 m/s at first and up to 1.12 m/s in level 20. A warning appears when it starts, and steering against it keeps you in your cell.
What does reduced motion change in Witch Broom Dash?
Turning on Reduced Motion in Settings removes camera shake, cuts the number of sparkles, stops the bobbing of the rider and pickups and steadies the wind ribbons. Hitboxes, speeds and level layouts stay exactly the same, so the game is just as fair and your stars still count.
