Sky Scramble
A sky-high game show for one boxy neon robot: dodge spinning bars, outrun tiles that crumble under your feet and chase the sparks hidden off the main path.
What is Sky Scramble?
Sky Scramble is a 3D obby where each of its 24 rounds is either a race against a 25 to 65 second clock or a knockout stage you must survive for 16 to 30 seconds. Races are forgiving, since flags catch you after a fall, but on survival stages a single slip off the edge ends the attempt. Four themed worlds add one new trick at a time, from gliding platforms to conveyor belts and bounce pads, so the challenge climbs at a steady pace instead of all at once.

How to play Sky Scramble
Goal: Win all 24 rounds and pick up every spark along the way: three sparks in each round give three stars, for 72 in total.
- Press Play and read the rule card. Each new kind of round explains itself once, in one sentence, before you start.
- Move with WASD or the arrows, or drag your thumb on the left half of a touch screen. Space or the Jump button hops.
- In a race, follow the flags to the checkered arch. Falling only sends you back to the most recent flag.
- In a survival stage, keep your feet on the floor, tiles or pillars until the timer reaches zero.
- Grab the gold four-point sparks. They often sit on a side ledge or the far edge of a stage.
- Read your stars, falls or bar hits on the result card, then go to the next round or retry for a better run.

Tips & tricks
- Tap jump the moment a spinning bar is about to reach you. The hop rises close to 1.9 m, which clears every bar.
- Treat each tile as a stepping stone: it waits only 0.6 s after your first touch before it turns red and falls.
- When a belt runs against you, keep pushing forward. You move at 6.4 m/s and no belt is faster than 3.8 m/s.
- Sliding blocks stun you for a moment when they connect, so cross their lane right after one passes.
- Race clocks are generous on a first clear. Spend the spare seconds on detours for sparks instead of rushing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Sky Scramble a race or a survival game?
Both. Thirteen of the 24 rounds are races to a checkered arch against a clock, and eleven are survival stages where you stay on for 16 to 30 seconds. The two kinds alternate through the four worlds, and the final round, Grand Finale, is a race.
Do you lose progress when you fall in a Sky Scramble race?
No. During a race the robot pops back at the last flag after 0.8 seconds and keeps any sparks already collected. The only cost is time, because the clock never stops, so several falls in a row can still end the race with Time's up!.
How high can you jump in Sky Scramble?
A normal jump peaks at about 1.9 metres, enough to clear every spinning bar. Bounce pads, which first appear in round 13, Pad Leap, fire you to roughly 4.9 metres and are the way up to the higher platforms. Jump also works for a split second after you step off an edge.
Which Sky Scramble rounds use crumbling tiles?
Crumble Floor in round 4 introduces them, Two Floors Down in round 8 stacks two layers and Triple Drop in round 18 stacks three. Tile Sweep and Storm Tiles mix the tiles with a spinning bar. A touched tile drops after 0.6 seconds, and the layers sit 5 metres apart.
What happens if a spinning bar hits you in Sky Scramble?
The bar throws you off at its own speed plus 4.5 m/s and leaves you dizzy for 0.45 seconds, during which you cannot steer. After that you have half a second of protection from another hit. On a narrow pillar or near an edge, that shove is usually enough to knock you off.
How are stars counted in Sky Scramble?
Every round you win is worth at least one star. Collecting two of the three sparks raises it to two stars, and all three sparks give three. Your best result is kept for each round, and for races your fastest finish time is saved as well.
