What is Sugar Shuttle?

Sugar Shuttle is a colour-matching puzzle where a little shuttle line loops around a mosaic made of candies, and every passenger is a gumdrop with an appetite for one colour. As a rider rolls past each row and column, it nibbles the outermost candy there, but only when the colours match, and steps off once its bites are spent. Riders that finish a loop still hungry wait on a bench with as few as 2 seats, so the real puzzle is choosing who boards next. Mosaics grow from 49 candies to 400 across 30 levels.

How to play Sugar Shuttle

Goal: Nibble away every candy in the mosaic without overfilling the waiting bench.

  1. Tap one of the 2–3 lines of gumdrops to put its front rider on the shuttle.
  2. Watch it loop clockwise from the bottom-left corner, nibbling the outer candy of each row and column when the colour matches.
  3. A rider with bites to spare after a full loop sits on the bench; tap its seat to send it round again.
  4. Clear the last candy to finish the mosaic and earn up to 3 stars.

Tips & tricks

  1. A glowing ring means that rider has a matching candy on the outside of the mosaic right now; those are the safe picks.
  2. Peel the mosaic from the outside in: a candy deep inside only becomes reachable once every candy in front of it on that row or column is gone.
  3. Keep the bench almost empty. One occupied seat at most is what earns 3 stars, and a free seat is your safety net for the next loop.
  4. When the shuttle holds its limit of riders, wait; the line buttons come back as soon as someone steps off.
  5. Save the Fast button for the last few candies, when the shuttle is mostly travelling empty track.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Rook in Sugar Shuttle?

Rook is the fox in flight goggles and a red scarf who keeps the candy shop and sits beside the bench. Rook smiles when you send a rider, looks worried when the last bench seat fills or the shuttle jams, and cheers when the mosaic is cleared, but never plays a move for you.

How many riders can be on the shuttle at once in Sugar Shuttle?

Four in the first 15 levels and three from level 16 onward, counting anyone waiting at the boarding gate. A new rider also waits until the one ahead has rolled three stops away from the corner, so riders never overlap.

Does Sugar Shuttle have a timer or a move limit?

Neither. The only way to lose is the bench: if a rider finishes its loop with bites left and every seat is taken, the shuttle jams and the mosaic restarts. The game also stops early if the bench is full and nobody you could send has a matching candy within reach.

What changes in the later chapters of Sugar Shuttle?

Garden Party, from level 11, adds candies in striped wrappers that need two nibbles, the first one tearing the paper. Night Fair, from level 21, hides every rider except the front of each line under party paper and trims the bench to 3 seats on most mosaics.

Is every Sugar Shuttle level beatable?

Yes. Each mosaic's riders carry exactly the bites its candies need, and every level is checked by a careful solver that clears it, with a seat to spare on all but the hardest. In playtests, random play still wins every early level but loses most Night Fair mosaics.

Can I play Sugar Shuttle with a keyboard?

Yes. Keys 1 to 3 board the front rider of each line, 4 to 8 send a rider from a bench seat, F toggles Fast, R restarts and P or Esc pauses. Mouse clicks and taps on the same buttons work too.
