Rivet Rush
A neon workshop bolt sort: unscrew rivets from stacked boards, drop each into a crate of its colour and keep the spare shelf from overflowing for 30 stages.
What is Rivet Rush?
Rivet Rush is a bolt-sorting puzzle run by Gizmo, a raccoon mechanic in neon goggles. Coloured rivets pin wooden boards in overlapping layers, and only a rivet with nothing on top of it can be unscrewed. It drops into one of two open crates of its colour, three rivets per crate, or waits on a spare shelf of five spots. Boards left hanging on a single rivet swing down and can trap others, so every stage is about picking the right order.

How to play Rivet Rush
Goal: Unscrew every rivet without filling the spare shelf, ideally with no undo and no more rivets on the shelf than the stage target.
- Tap a rivet that no board covers; it heads for the open crate of its colour.
- No crate of that colour open? The rivet parks on the shelf, which holds five (four from stage 25).
- A crate with three rivets ships out and the next crate rolls in, collecting matching rivets from the shelf.
- A board pinned by one rivet swings to hang below it; with none left it drops off the wall.

Tips & tricks
- Count shelf spots before every tap: a rivet that fits an open crate is free, a shelved one is not.
- Picture where a board will dangle before you pull its second-last rivet; the swing can bury the rivet you wanted next.
- Peek at the crates waiting in line: shipping the current crate early can empty the shelf in one go.
- From stage 17, uncover capped rivets first so their real colours show before you commit.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I unscrew some rivets in Rivet Rush?
Another board sits on top of them. Each board belongs to a layer, and a rivet stays stuck until every higher board over its head has swung away or fallen. Covered rivets look faded, and Gizmo tells you a board is in the way when you tap one.
Why did a board suddenly swing in Rivet Rush?
It was down to one rivet. A board pinned at a single point rotates until its centre hangs straight below that rivet, and in its new spot it may cover rivets that were free or free ones that were covered. Remove that last rivet and the board falls off the wall.
How many rivets fit on the shelf in Rivet Rush?
Five on stages 1 to 24 and four on the storm stages, 25 to 30. The stage fails the moment the shelf is full, but the failure screen offers an undo of that last rivet, so one slip does not cost the whole stage.
Do shelved rivets ever leave the shelf in Rivet Rush?
Yes. Whenever a crate fills with its third rivet it ships out, the next crate in line opens, and it immediately pulls up to three rivets of its colour off the shelf. Planning which crate opens next is the main way to keep the shelf clear.
What are the acorn caps on Rivet Rush stages 17 to 30?
They hide the colour of rivets that are still under a board. A cap pops off as soon as its rivet is uncovered and never returns. Until then you only know a rivet is there, so clearing the boards above capped rivets early removes the guesswork.
How is the shelf target for three stars set in Rivet Rush?
Every stage stores a target between one and four rivets, taken from a proven winning order plus a little slack on early stages. Clear the stage with no undo and never let the shelf hold more than that target to earn all three stars.
